June 18 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pmFree
The Fruit and Festivals of Art/Thought/Culture are collaborating on a Juneteenth celebration welcoming all races and ethnicities. A brief program at 7:30 will explain the history of the day, music, and fashion from slave times to today. The Fruit is opening the majority of its space to an art show by Black artists, with works for sale as well as loaned pieces from area collectors. This is a chance to see art that is normally not on view to the public.
The show will include both prominent and emerging artists.
