The public is invited to 5 Points Gallery’s Third Friday reception on July 16 from 6-9pm. Join our artists who will be on hand to talk to you about the works. We start our third year by introducing an exceptional artist, Donna Stubbs. Donna is an abstract painter who builds multiple layers of acrylic paint, vintage papers, book pages and photographs to create her mixed media works. The connections she makes through these discarded images combined with textured layers of paint and mark making become her own visual language that enlivens her works and gives them meaning. The public is invited to view Donna’s work as a part of our members exhibition REFRESH. This exhibition is a collection of new works by ten local artists, assembled to include a range of mediums such as painting, sculpture, fused glass, and mixed media.

Visit 5 Points Gallery in person or online from your home, and shop on our website at https://5pointsgallery.com/. All work from this exhibition can be shipped or picked up at the gallery. We are open Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays noon-8pm, and Sunday, July 18, noon-3pm. You may also schedule an in-person viewing by private appointment at your convenience by contacting us at info@5pointsgallery.com. We are honored to have been chosen to be Best of Durham 2021 by Durham Magazine’s readers.
