Submit a Third Friday Durham event

The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is used to promote arts-related events and activities taking place in Durham County on the Third Friday of each month. The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is a free service provided by Downtown Durham, Inc.

Event organizers are also encouraged to use the hashtag #thirdfridaydurham on social media, and to tag @thirdfridaydurham on Instagram and @DDIThirdFridayDurham on Facebook.

Requirements for Submission

All events must:

• occur within Durham County
• be open to the general public
• take place on the third Friday of the month
• take place between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or overlap this window
• be related to the visual arts, or the arts in general

Downtown Durham, Inc. maintains full editorial control over all submitted events, including the right to exclude events as necessary. The Third Friday Durham Event Calendar is for informational purposes only and does not imply endorsement by DDI. Please allow up to 2-3 business days for your event to appear on the calendar.

Public events may require permitting, which is not handled by DDI. Please visit the City of Durham special events page to ensure proper permits have been secured.
